Telling Stories Otherwise is an exhibition of research-creation visual and narrative works that serve as partial requirements for Brad Necyk’s PhD in Psychiatry at the University of Alberta. This show looks at a wide range of topics surrounding mental health, including trauma, suicide, institutionalization, living with cancer and healing. On display will be a series of large-scale 3D-rendered spaces, videos, paintings, drawings and virtual reality spaces.
