DESCRIPTION:To kick off the growing season Earth’s General Store is having our seventh annual gardening day (now called “Get Growing Day”) on Sunday\, May 12th. People will have the opportunity to purchase organic seedlings\, apple trees\, pear trees\, fertilizers\, soil\, and a whole range of other items. \nSparrow’s Nest Organic and Chickadee Farm will have seedlings for sale. These are both local certified organic farms. Sparrow’s Nest will have vegetable seedlings and Chickadee Farm will have herb seedlings. \nSprout Farms is again offering apple tree whips for sale. You can pick up flyers from the store to see what varieties they offer\, visit Sprout Farms’ website (where you can also find information of how to pay for them)\, http://www.sproutfarms.ca/ \nLove & Fantasy Flower Farms are located in Edmonton’s iconic west side suburbs and is dedicated to bringing locally grown flowers to market in a sustainable and innovative new ways. Whether it’s delivering some orders by bicycle\, limiting plastic and composting as much as possible\, our flowers were grown to be enjoyed without having to fly to get to your table.\nFor Mother’s Day we are hoping mother nature will help out and make our cool season flowers ready to be enjoyed as cut flower bouquets!
